Laba Kodjo netted a brace to help Al Ain cruise to an impressive 4-0 win over Al Wahda at Al Nahyan Stadium in matchweek 20 of the Arabian Gulf League on Friday.
Al Ain put in a fine performance in the first half that saw them take a 3-0 lead into halftime. Laba Kodjo opened the scoring on the 10-minute mark and Caio Canedo doubled the Boss' lead only five minutes later.
After impressive teamwork, Khalid Al Blooshi scored the third goal just after the half-hour mark as Al Ain took a 3-0 lead against Al Wahda for the first time since 2014.
To add insult to injury, Al Wahda were reduced to 10 men after Ahmed Rashid was sent off for a second booking in the 74th minute.
Al Ain capitalized on Al Wahda's numerical disadvantage as they added the fourth through Laba Kodjo two minutes from time.
