Sharjah qualified to the semi-finals of the ADIB Cup's semi-finals after defeating Al Wahda 4-3 on aggregate.
Al Wahda had taken the advantage in the first leg of the quarter-finals by securing a 1-0 win at Al Nahyan Stadium, but Sharjah's response was harsh as they pulled off a 4-2 victory in the second leg.
Luan Pereira had given an early lead for Sharjah after five minutes when he timed his run perfectly to head in Mohamed Firas Ben Alarbi's cross.
Seven minutes after the break, Luan Pereira turned from a scorer to a provider when he pounced on a misjudgment from Al Wahda's defense to round the ball to Caio Lucas, who reached the pass before the onrushing goalkeeper and slotted the ball into the back of the net.
Al Wahda were granted a penalty kick in the 59th minute and Omar Khribin converted the ball successfully from the spot to make it 2-1.
Ali Zhir inadvertently converted the ball into his net to cement Sharjah's lead ten minutes after the hour-mark.
Caio Lucas grabbed his brace as he launched a strike from a tight angle to make it 4-1 and sealed Sharjah's spot in the semi-finals.
Brahima Diarra pulled one back for Al Wahda four minutes before the time with a sensational finish from the six-yard box.
