This historic win marks the third consecutive time that Al Wahda has defeated Al Ain at their home stadium in the Pro League.
The result means that Al Wahda are now third with 10 points, while Al Ain slip to sixth with 7 points.
The match kicked off intensely, with both teams going all out from the start. Al Ain struck first in the 17th minute through Soufian Rahimi, who capitalized on a pinpoint cross from Bandar Al Ahbabi to put the home side ahead.
Rahimi’s goal continued his strong run of form, marking his fifth goal in his last four matches and bringing his overall total to 30 in the ADNOC Pro League.
Al Wahda responded resiliently, pushing for an equalizer as they battled back into the game. Omar Khribin delivered the breakthrough for his side, leveling the score with a clinical finish in the 40th minute.
This goal was Khribin’s fifth against Al Ain in the Pro League.

However, Al Wahda capitalized on their chances, taking the lead in the 64th minute when Facundo Daniel pounced on a rebound from the goalkeeper following a shot by Khribin.
