Laba Kodjo scored a hat-trick to help Al Ain defeat Bani Yas 4-0 in matchweek 9 of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.
Matias Segovia had broken the deadlock after 33 minutes as he fired a sublime strike from a tight angle into the top corner.
A minute before the break, Laba Kodjo as he latched onto an excellent through pass from Matias Palacios to break the offside trap and slotted the ball into the bottom corner.
The Togolese striker made it 3-0 in the 75th minute after poking the rebound in.
Kodjo completed his hat-trick two minutes before the time, with a sensational finish into the bottom corner.
The result means that Al Ain sit 5th with 14 points, while Bani Yas are 10th with 7 points.
