Al Ain Fight Back to Snatch 3-3 Draw Against Kalba

Al Ain pulled off a dramatic late comeback to secure a 3-3 draw against Kalba in a postponed Matchweek 3 clash of the ADNOC Pro League at Kalba Stadium on Wednesday.

The match delivered non-stop action, and a thrilling finale that left fans on the edge of their seats.

Kalba took control early, with Mehdi Ghayedi opening the scoring in the 24th minute after capitalizing on a defensive lapse from Al Ain.

The hosts extended their lead in the second half through Shahriyar Moghanloo, whose powerful strike in the 54th minute made it 2-0.

Saman Ghoddos added what seemed to be a decisive third goal in the 76th minute, giving Kalba a commanding 3-0 advantage.

Just when the game seemed out of reach, Al Ain launched an incredible comeback.

Laba Kodjo pulled one back in the 79th minute with a clinical finish, before Mateo Sanabria struck twice in quick succession, first in the 81st minute and then in the 95th minute of stoppage time, to rescue a crucial point for the visitors.

The result sees Kalba move to 13 points, sitting in 7th place on the league table, while Al Ain climb to 6th place with 15 points.
