Bani Yas and Al Bataeh shared the spoils after playing out a 1-1 draw in matchweek ten of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.
Bani Yas needed 27 minutes to break the deadlock and take the lead when Youssoufou Niakate latched onto a through pass from Arnaud Lusamba as he beat his man and rounded the ball to Suhail Alnoobi, who slotted the ball into the back of the net.
Three minutes later, Mohammad Juma quickly restored the parity for Al Bataeh as he brilliantly curled the ball into the bottom corner.
Bani Yas had to complete the game with ten players from the 63rd minute after Khamis AlHammadi was sent off due to a red card.
The result means that Bani Yas are 11th with 8 points, while Al Bataeh sit 12th with 5 points.
