Al Nasr claimed a dramatic 3-1 win against Khorfakkan in an action-packed Matchweek 10 encounter of the ADNOC Pro League.
The match, held at Al Maktoum Stadium, saw Al Nasr climb to third place in the standings with 19 points, while Khorfakkan remained in ninth with 11 points.
Khorfakkan started strongly, taking the lead in the 18th minute through Pedro Henrique, who finished a well-delivered corner with precision.
Despite the early setback, Al Nasr regrouped quickly and turned the tide.
In the 37th minute, Adel Taarabt equalized with a stunning free-kick that left the Khorfakkan goalkeeper without a chance.
Four minutes later, Ali Mabkhout gave Al Nasr the lead with a superb strike into the far corner, showcasing his class and composure under pressure.
The second half was filled with missed opportunities for both sides. Abdoulaye Toure came close to extending Al Nasr’s lead in the 71st minute, while Khorfakkan’s Oumar Keita missed a crucial chance to level the match in the 75th minute.
However, the hosts sealed the victory in stoppage time when Manolo Gabbiadini delivered a clinical finish in the 93rd minute, putting the game beyond Khorfakkan's reach and securing all three points for Al Nasr.
