The second half saw a transformed Al Ain side.
They found their breakthrough just two minutes after the restart when Laba Kodjo connected with a precise cross and powered a header into the net in the 47th minute to reduce the deficit to 2-1.
Al Ain continued to push forward, and their persistence paid off in the 58th minute.
Soufian Rahimi, who had come on as a substitute in the first half, rose highest to meet a cross and headed the ball into the net, leveling the score at 2-2.
With this result, Al Ain move up to third place in the league standings with 23 points, while Khorfakkan reach 15 points, staying in 10th place.
