Ali Madan's late penalty completed the drama as Ajman and Al Nasr settled a four-goal thriller after drawing 2-2 in gameweek one of the ADIB Cup on Wednesday.
Al Nasr found the breakthrough and took the lead in the 14th minute when Ajman's defense failed to properly clear Samir Memisevic's cross as the ball fell to Hamdan Alkamali, who fired it into the back of the net.
The hosts refused to give up as they regrouped in pursuit of the equalizer, which arrived 15 minutes later when Hikal Chikhaoui sent a perfect cross from a corner kick into the penalty area, where Waleed Azaro towered above Al Nasr's defense to thump a brilliant header into the top corner of the net.
The visitors pressed to restore the lead once again, and they got what they wanted when Manolo Gabbiadini was put through on goal following a brilliant pass from Samir Memisevic as the former kept his composure and drilled the ball into the near post of the net.
Al Nasr thought that they had secured a vital win over Ajman, but Ali Madan stunned Al Nasr fans from the spot to hit the equalizer and made it 2-2 in the 88th minute, setting the stage for an enthralling gameweek two.
