Ajman came from behind to snatch a 2-1 victory over Al Bataeh in matchweek eight of the ADNOC Pro League at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium on Sunday.
Saif Rashid gave an early lead for Al Bataeh after just eleven minutes with a deflected shot from a distance.
Moroccan striker Waleed Azaro put Ajman level in the stoppage time of the first half when he met Prestige Mboungou's low cross with a left-footed effort into the bottom corner of the net.
Ajman kept up the pressure, and they were awarded a penalty kick due to a handball on Saeed Ali Ibrahim in the 79th minute. M. Ben Alarbi stepped up and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to seal the victory for the hosts.
Ajman are now in 5th place with 14 points, while Al Bataeh sit 10th with 9 points.
