Al Ain came from a 1-0 down to snatch a 2-1 victory over Khorfakkan in matchweek nine of the ADNOC Pro League at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on Friday.
Mehdi Abeid gave an early lead for Khorfakkan in the 7th minute when he timed his run perfectly to head in Antonio Junior's cross.
Seven minutes after the break, Kouame Antonne restored parity for Al Ain when he towered above Khorfakkan's defenders to thump a brilliant header into the back of the net.
Laba Kodjo sealed the victory for the hosts when he climbed above Khorfakkan's defenders to fire a powerful header into the top corner of the net.
The result means that Al Ain sit second with 16 points, while Khorfakkan are in the 11th spot with 8 points.
