Al Ain put on foot in the ADIB Cup's quarter-final after pulling off a 5-0 victory over Al Bataeh in gameweek one.
Kouame Antonne had found the breakthrough after just 11 minutes with a powerful strike from inside the box.
Eight minutes before the break, Sultan Saeed Alshamsi found the way for doubling the lead when Soufiane Rahimi capitalized on a mis-placed pass from Al Bataeh's goalkeeper to send low cross to Alshamsi, who found it easy to put the ball into the empty net.
Omar Atzili made it 3-0 with a clinical finish from a close range.
J.Loulendo made it 4-0 in the stoppage when he climbed above Al Bataeh's defender to send a powerful header into the back of the net, before hitting his brace five minutes later to make it 5-0.
Gameweek two between both clubs is set to take place on Thursday, 14th September.
