Al Ain maintained their unbeaten start to the 2023-24 ADNOC Pro League season with a 6-0 big win over Ajman at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium on Saturday.
An own goal from Abdulrahman Rakan gives Al Ain the advantage after fourteen minutes when Bandar Al Ahbabi sent a low cross into the six-yard box, where Rakan inadvertently turned the ball into his net.
Five minutes later, Soufian Rahimi fired a superb first-time volley into the top corner to double the hosts' lead. Al Ain dominated the game as they managed to make it 3-0 in the 31st minute when Yahia Nader hammered a strike past Yousuf Ahmed.
A minute before the break, the Moroccan striker grabbed his brace after picking up the ball from outside the box and cutting inside the penalty area before drilling the ball into the bottom corner.
Six minutes after the hour-mark, Jonatas Santos made it 5-0 with an excellent right-footed effort into the back of the net. Laba Kodjo added the sixth goal of the night with a clincial finish from a close range three minutes before th time.
