Goals from Soufian Rahimi, Laba Kodjo, and Caio Canedo handed Al Ain a comfortable 3-0 victory over Ittihad Kalba at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in matchweek four of the ADNOC Pro League on Sunday.
The 2021-22 League champions wasted no time to open the scoring when Andrii Yarmolenko's shot bounced off the bar and fell to Soufian Rahimi, who put the rebound into the back of the net.
Eight minutes before the hour mark, Laba Kodjo cemented his side's lead with a clinical finish from close range following a brilliant cross from Soufian Rahimi.
In the 79th minute, Caio scored the third goal of the night when he lashed a superb first-time volley into the bottom corner of the net.
The result means Al Ain sit in Fourth place with 7 points, while Ittihad Kalba remain seventh with only 6 points.
