Al Bataeh and Ajman shared the spoils on Friday after playing out a 1-1 draw at Khalid Bin Mohammed Stadium in matchweek 6 of the ADNOC Pro League.
A fine solo effort from Sekou Baba in the 28th minute broke the deadlock and gave the lead to Al Bataeh after muscling his way past three defenders before he steered the ball past goalkeeper Ali Al Hosani.
Waleed Azaro pounced on a misplaced pass from Abdalla Abdulrahman Mohammed to round the goalkeeper and put the ball into the empty net, hitting the equalizer for Ajman.
The result means Al Bataeh sit sixth with eight points, while Ajman are 13th with three points.
