Al Bataeh recovered from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Ittihad Kalba in a breathless and pulsating ADNOC Pro League encounter, which took place at Saqr bin Mohammad al Qassimi Stadium on Saturday.
Ittihad Kalba found the breakthrough and took the lead when Daniel Bessa met Alexandru Cicaldau's cross with a clinical finish from close range.
Ten minutes after the break, Alexandru Cicaldau turned from a provider to a scorer as he doubled his side's lead after stepping up to curl a superb free-kick into the back of the net.
Al Bataeh were awarded a penalty kick in the 84th minute, and Joao Pedro stepped up and stroked the ball into the bottom left corner of the net.
Lourency Do's 93rd-minute equalizer ensured the teams shared the points and left Ittihad Kalba in the 8th place with 21 points, while Al Bataeh are in the 11th spot with 14 points.
