Goals from Anatole Bertrand, Sekou Baba, and Paulo Henrique handed Al Bataeh a 3-0 easy win over Khorfakkan at Saqr Bin Mohammad al Qassimi Stadium in matchweek 18 of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.
Al Bataeh managed to quickly open the scoring after just nine minutes when Anatole Bertrand pounced on an excellent pass from Mohamed Rashid Alhammadi inside the box and curled his shot past the keeper.
Paulo Henrique cemented his side's lead after converting from a penalty spot seven minutes before the break.
Sekou Baba made it 3-0 in the stoppage time with a powerful effort from inside the box.
The win means that Al Bataeh are 7th with 25 points, while Khorfakkan sit 12th with 17 points.
