Al Nasr continued their impressive run in the ADNOC Pro League, delivering a commanding 4-1 win over Bani Yas at Al Maktoum Stadium.
The match saw Al Nasr take an early lead and maintain control, with goals from Adel Taarabt, Othmane Boussaid, Ali Mabkhout, and Abdoulaye Toure sealing the victory. Bani Yas managed to equalize briefly through Youssoufou Niakate, but Al Nasr's dominance was undeniable.
The scoring began in the 14th minute when an error by Bani Yas goalkeeper Fahad Aldhanhani allowed Ali Mabkhout to set up Adel Taarabt, who calmly slotted the ball into the net. Bani Yas quickly responded with a goal from Youssoufou Niakate just two minutes later, but that was as close as they would get.
In the second half, Othmane Boussaid restored Al Nasr's lead with a header in the 53rd minute, followed by a goal from Ali Mabkhout in the 65th minute—his first league goal for Al Nasr and his 20th against Bani Yas.
Abdoulaye Toure added the fourth goal in the 75th minute, putting the game beyond Bani Yas's reach. Al Nasr goalkeeper Abdulla Altamimi capped off the victory by saving a penalty in the 87th minute, ensuring a comfortable win for his team.
With this victory, Al Nasr remains unbeaten, sitting at the top of the league with six points, while Bani Yas stays on three points from their opening match win.
