Al Wahda pulled off a 3-1 win over Bani Yas at Al Nahyan Stadium in matchweek 18 of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.
The hosts took an early lead after nine minutes from the spot as Omar Khribin stepped up and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way.
Bani Yas's pains increased thirteen minutes before the break when Facundo Daniel ran onto a brilliant pass from Allan Marques to break the offside trap and drilled the ball into the back of the net.
A sublime strike from Tauljan Sulemjmanov reduced the deficit for Bani Yas in the 53rd minute.
Another penalty kick for Omar Khribin made it 3-1 and sealed the victory for Bani Yas in stoppage time.
It means that Al Wahda sit fourth with 34 points, while Bani Yas are 9th with 19 points.
