Francisco Alcacer's header was the difference for Sharjah in a 1-0 away win over Al Bataeh in matchweek 7 of the ADNOC Pro League on Tuesday.
Alcacer broke the deadlock in the 57th minute when he climbed above Al Bataeh's defenders to thump a brilliant header into the back of the net.
Sharjah are now topping the ADNOC Pro League's table with 16 points, while Al Bataeh sit 9th with 9 points.
