Goals from Soufiane Bouftini and Tomas Chancalay secured a 2-0 away win for Al Wasl over Al Dhafra at Hamdan Bin Zayed Stadium on Friday.
Al Wasl needed just 15 minutes to break the deadlock and take the lead with Soufiane Bouftini's clinical finish from a close range.
Tomas Chancalay secured the three points and sealed the victory when he fired in a rebound after Ali Saleh's strike hit the post.
The result means that Al Wasl sit second with 38 points, while Al Dhafra are 13th with 7 points.
