Caio Lucas scored a penalty in the 87th minute to hand Sharjah a narrow 1-0 win over Al Dhafra in matchweek nine of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.
Three minutes before the final whistle, Sharjah broke the deadlock when Caio Lucas converted from a penalty spot after stepping up and sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.
The victory leads Sharjah to the top of the table with 19 points, while Al Dhafra are in the 13th spot with 4 points.
