Ali Madan's late penalty completed the drama at Emirates Club Stadium as Emirates and Ajman settled an eight-goal thriller after drawing 4-4 in the opening game of matchweek two of the ADNOC Pro League on Friday.
The hosts needed only two minutes to go ahead, with Lithierry Silva finding the back of the net after he timed his run perfectly to head in Andres Iniesta's cross.
Ajman responded quickly after eight minutes when Abdulla Saleh towered above Emirates' defense to thump a powerful header into the bottom corner.

Four minutes after the hour-mark, Ismail Salem Ismai reduced the deficit after tapping in the rebound from a close range.
Two minutes before the time, Franck Com hit the equalizer after firing a long-range strike, which took a slight deflection that wrong-footed the goalkeeper.
The hosts have been awarded a penalty kick in the dead time as it was a golden opportunity for Mohammad Aljalboot's men to take the three points home. Barcelona's former captain Andres Iniesta scored the winning goal as he stepped up and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way.
All the attendees thought that Emirates took the three points home, but Ali Madan stunned Emirates fans from the spot to hit the equalizer and made it 4-4 in the 105th minute in a real drama at Emirates Club Stadium.
