Fabio De Lima set up all two goals as Al Wasl pulled off a 2-0 win over Al Nasr in matchweek 17 of the ADNOC Pro League on Friday.
A minute before the hour-mark, Al Wasl found the breakthrough and took the lead from a set-piece when Fabio De Lima teed up Siaka Sidibe inside the box, and the unmarked midfielder controlled the ball with his chest before firing a volley into the back of the net.
Ali Saleh picked up another assist from De Lima as the former fired the ball into the back of the net with a curling right-footed effort.
The result means that Al Wasl sit second with 35 points, while Al Nasr are twelfth with 14 points.
