Ittihad Kalba and Al Ain shared the spoils after playing out a 2-2 draw in matchweek ten of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.
It took 20 minutes from Al Ain to open the scoring when goalkeeper Eisa Houti failed to clear Erik Jorgens' cross as the ball fell to Alejandro Romero, who found it easy to put the ball into the empty net.
Al Ain managed to score opening goal against Ittihad Kalba in their last seven encounters in the ADNOC Pro League.
Ten minutes later, Andres Vombergar's clinical finish from a close range restored the parity for Ittihad Kalba.
Daniel Bessa turned the game on its head after firing a low effort, which hit the back of the net to make it 2-1 for Ittihad Kalba.
Soufian Rahimi hit the equalizer for Al Ain after curling a superb free-kick into the top corner of the net in the 71st minute. It is a first goal for Al Ain from a direct free-kick in the ADNOC Pro League during the ongoing season.
The result means that Al Ain sit third with 19 points, while Ittihad Kalba are ninth with 12 points.
