Last-Minute Drama Seals 2-2 Draw Between Al Ain and Al Jazira

Al Ain and Al Jazira ended in a 2-2 draw in their latest encounter, a rescheduled encounter from matchweek 13 of the ADNOC Pro League, hosted at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium. The game was a rollercoaster of emotions and a last-minute equalizer that encapsulated the fierce rivalry between the two teams.

The action kicked off with Al Jazira seizing the early advantage, thanks to a striking goal by Bruno de Oliveira at the 11-minute mark, setting a challenging pace for Al Ain. Despite falling behind, Al Ain staged a remarkable comeback in the second half, overturning the deficit with two consecutive goals. Kouame Autonne ignited the turnaround with a header in the 51st minute, followed by Matias Palacios's precision free-kick in the 61st minute, marking Al Ain's first free-kick goal against Al Jazira in their Professional League history.

The intensity soared as Al Ain pushed for a third goal, with Laba Kodjo narrowly missing in the final moments of regular time.

Just when Al Ain seemed poised for victory, Al Jazira's Mamadou Coulibaly delivered a stunning late equalizer in the 94th minute, securing a 2-2 draw. This outcome extends Al Jazira's winless streak to six league games, a first since the 2015-2016 season.

With this draw, both teams added a point to their tallies, placing Al Ain third with 36 points and Al Jazira eighth with 22 points.
