Ajman and Sharjah played out an exhilarating 2-2 draw at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium in Matchweek 25 of the ADNOC Pro League. The draw brought Ajman’s tally to 32 points and Sharjah’s to 39 points.
The match began at a blistering pace. Ajman’s Isam Faiz opened the scoring within the first minute, netting a goal just 16 seconds after kickoff. Sharjah's Majed Almherzi quickly equalized, finding the net before the second minute had passed.
This match made history as the first in the ADNOC Pro League to see two goals scored within the opening two minutes. Sharjah then took the lead in the 67th minute through Luan Pereira. Sharjah has now scored seven goals by substitutes this season, second only to Al Wasl and Shabab Al Ahli, each with ten goals from substitutes.
Ajman showed resilience, with Rocky Marciano scoring the equalizer in the 87th minute. Marciano has now scored his last five goals in the ADNOC Pro League as a substitute.
