He said, "it’s an important game as it is a final match, and we will fight for the full 90 minutes.” He revealed that his team prepared well for the game and hopes their preparations translate into a good performance on the pitch.
The Shabab Al Ahli coach said that his team's recent victory over Al Nasr in the Arabian Gulf League will motivate the team to do their best. “Defeating Al Nasr, who are among the title favorites, in the derby made us more confident ahead of the Super Cup match against Sharjah.” He added, "both teams have equal chances, and we hope we play a good match.”
He added, "the result of any match is important for every team, and as technical team and players, we have to be dedicated and keen to win. Sometimes, the team that dominates the match may not win and we have to do our best in the 90 minutes. The Super Cup is not the end of the world for us. We are strongly competing for two titles this season." He also added that his team's performance improved in the league.
