Ousmane Camara scored a 95th-minute winner to give Sharjah a 1-0 hard-earned win over Khorfakkan in the first leg of ADIB Cup's preliminary round.
The second leg between both clubs will take place on Saturday, September 7th at Sharjah Stadium.
Sharjah enjoyed the bulk of possession during the first half, which was a cagey one, except for some real threats from Luan Pereira and Marcus Meloni.
Khorfakkan reacted to Sharjah's goal-scoring opportunities by posing a real threat through Mattheus De Andrade's effort, which was denied by goalkeeper Adel Alhosani.
The goal came in the injury time of the second half when Ousmane Camara picked up Khalid Bawazir's cross to drill the ball into the back of the net.
