Sharjah settled up a five-goal thriller after securing a 3-2 win over Bani Yas in a postponed match from matchweek 19 on Friday.
Saleh Musallam found the breakthrough and broke the deadlock when Ousmane Camara fed Musallam as he cut inside and smashed a shot beyond Aldhanhani into the bottom corner after 37 minutes.
A spectacular shot from M. Marega in the 46th minute sees Sharjah going ahead with two clean goals.
Three minutes later, Prestige Mboungou's curling low effort from inside the box reduced the deficit for Bani Yas
M. Marega climbed above Bani Yas' defense and headed Miralem Pjanic's brilliant cross from a corner in the 51st minute.
A superb strike from Gastón Suarez in the 53rd minute boosted Bani Yas' hope in the game as the scoreboard became 3-2.
The result means Sharjah sit sixth with 34 points, while Bani Yas are 10th with 22 points.
