The UAE Pro League and Trends Research and Advisory signed a memorandum of understanding on enhancing cooperation and partnership in areas of knowledge and research cooperation that serve the community in general, and the sports sector in particular.
The MoU was signed on Thursday by Waleed Al Hosani, Executive Director of the UAE Pro League, and Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of Trends Research and Advisory, at the Center's headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The signing ceremony was attended by heads of sectors and directors of various departments from both sides.
The MoU covered areas of cooperation and exchange of experiences, including conduct of joint research on the sports field, and field surveys and opinion polls that measure the levels of general satisfaction among the public in relation to this sector. The results of these surveys shall benefit the decision-maker through situation assessments.د
The MoU also included arrangement and organization of joint research activities, such as conferences, seminars, lectures and workshops. Moreover, the two sides shall exchange publications, such as books, periodicals, and magazines. They shall run various training programs and courses, to raise the capabilities of their staff and develop their creative skills.
The MoU shall build an effective strategic partnership between stakeholders by enhancing research cooperation in the field of policies and developing a network of communication with local and international partners.

Al Hosani also expressed his happiness at signing this agreement, which will support the Uae pro league ability to understand the behavior of target groups, enhance public attendance, and improve the matchday experience, through field surveys and opinion polls that measure the levels of general satisfaction among the public. The results shall help us develop strategic initiatives in line with the best international practices in the technical, marketing, commercial and media fields related to football. It raises global competitiveness, and delivers the objectives of the Uae pro league strategic plan 2020-2030, which aims to develop the local community through the popular sport of football.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of Trends Research and Advisory, said that the signing of the MoU with the UAE Pro League comes as a translation of the Center's global strategy and vision, which aims to strengthen partnerships with various sports institutions and actors at the regional and international levels.
Dr. Al-Ali stated that Trends will work in the coming period to prepare more specialized sports research and studies, which will address the importance of sports in enhancing soft power and improving community health.
