The UAE Pro League grants accreditation cards to media institutions in the sports category for covering the ADNOC Pro League, the ADIB Cup, the U23 League, and the UAE Super Cup. The UAE PL reserves the right to revoke the accreditation cards of any or all individuals if the cardholder fails to comply with the regulations, guidelines, and organizational procedures. Should the institution refuse to return the card of any of its representatives, the UAE PL retains the right to revoke all accreditation cards issued to the institution and to ban any affiliated individual from entering stadiums where UAE PL competitions are held.
Eligibility for Accreditation Cards:
- Applications for accreditation cards to cover UAE PL competitions are open to all employees of media institutions in the sports category.
- The applicant must be a UAE national or hold a valid UAE ID card. Exceptions are made for representatives of foreign media visiting for a specified period.
- The applicant must be at least 18 years old.
- The applicant must complete all required documents in the accreditation system.
- Applicants for digital coverage must provide a valid Emirates Media Council license for their platform, which must be operational, contain content, and have more than 20,000 followers.
- Applicants for digital coverage must obtain a No Objection Certificate from their employer to engage in digital coverage activities for UAE PL competitions for the 2024/2025 season.
Application Procedures:
- Register on the dedicated accreditation system website: acc.agleague.ae
- Submit the required documents on the website according to the categories listed below:
- Official Media Institutions: Passport, ID card, personal photo.
- Media Institutions Outside the UAE: Passport, ID card, personal photo, press card, No Objection Certificate from the media institution.
- Digital Platforms: Passport, ID card, personal photo, media license, No Objection Certificate from the employer.
- Media Students - Trainee Category: Passport, ID card, personal photo, a letter from the educational institution specifying the training assignment and duration.
The UAE Pro League will review the submitted applications. Submission of all documents and meeting all the above conditions are mandatory for the application to be considered. The UAE PL reserves the absolute right to accept or reject submitted applications without providing reasons, even if all conditions are met. Responses of acceptance or rejection will be sent to the email address registered in the application.
