UAE Pro League CEO Waleed Al Hosani expressed his gratitude to the wise leadership for their unlimited support to the sports sector in general and football in particular. He also thanked all the partners in the success of this long season, including the clubs, the governmental organizations, the private companies, the fans, and everyone who was involved in the success of the UAE Pro League competitions. He said that the highly competitive season has now come to an end after Al Jazira were crowned Arabian Gulf League champions to join Shabab Al Ahli, who sealed the Arabian Gulf Super Cup and Arabian Gulf Cup titles.
Al Hosani confirmed that the UAE Pro League aims to build on the current season's successes while seeking to continue its development journey and implement the highest quality standards in the next season and the upcoming years in alignment with the 2020-2030 strategic plan. He added that the strategy focuses on improving Emirati football and the UAE Pro League competitions to reach the highest levels of regional and international quality while paying special attention to the technical aspect, which witnessed significant improvement this season.
Al Hosani congratulated Al Jazira on winning the Arabian Gulf League title for the third time. He added that the tight competition and the strong title race made the achievement more remarkable, as we look forward to enjoying intense competition in the next season as well. He added that everyone is considered a winner this season, thanks to the successful efforts of the UAE in combating the Covid-19 pandemic and ensuring the return of football.
