UAE Pro League allows 12-year-old fans to attend games

UAE Pro League has announced, following coordination with UAE Football Association and National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management, allowing fans who are 12 years old or older to watch the games of the 2020-2021 season from the stands.

The Pro League had earlier announced increasing the rate of spectators allowed into the stands in ADNOC Pro League, Pro League cup, and Super Cup games up to 80% of the stadiums’ capacity, setting the age range between 16 years old and above.

The decision to increase age range has been made to give the opportunity to more fans to watch the games live from the stands taking into consideration the strict implementation of health precautionary measures.

Only fans who have received the third dose of the an accredited Covid-19 vaccine, or those who received the second dose less than 6 months ago and have a negative result of a PCR test that has been conducted less than 48 hours before the date of the game will be allowed into games’ venues.

UAE Pro has also stressed the importance of complying with all precautionary measures while watching the games and that includes wearing face masks and maintaining social distance with others.
