The Pro League Cup sees five encounters taking place over the weekend in the mini-league to decide the ranking of teams from fifth to eighth place in the competition.
Saturday’s action gets underway on the east coast with Ittihad Kalba hosting Al Wasl at 17:00 while the second game of the day sees Ajman welcome Al Nasr to Rashid bin Saeed Stadium for the 19:30 kick-off.
The games continue on Sunday with Khorfakkan hosting Al Orooba at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium, while Al Dhafra face Emirates at Hamdan bin Zayed Stadium and Sharjah take on Bani Yas at Sharjah stadium.
According to the competition's new regulations, teams eliminated at the round of 16 play a single-legged mini-league to decide the positions from ninth to 14th, while teams knocked out at the quarterfinals compete in a similar style tournament to decide positions from fifth to eighth.
The two beaten semi-finalists face-off in third place play-off.
