The UAE Pro League held on Friday a pre-season workshop 2022-2023, at Rixos GBR Hotel in Dubai.

The workshop was attended by His Excellency Abdulla Naser Al Jneibi, first vice-President of the UAE Football Association, and Chairman of the UAE Pro League, and Hassan Taleb Al Marri, the UAE Pro League board member and Chairman of the Technical Committee, in addition to wide participation of representatives of clubs and various media outlets.

The workshop witnessed a review of the most important developments and amendments to the regulations of competitions and marketing, media and television broadcasting, and security and safety.

At the outset of the event, Al Marri gave a speech to welcome the attendees, and congratulate all the clubs' officials on the start of the 2022-2023 new sports season, wishing them success.

Al-Marri added: "We are always keen to update the regulations in a way suited to the development of our competitions in various aspects, whether technical, marketing, media, and others, to advance Emirati football and reach the highest international standards."

"Certainly, we will not be able to do this without your support. The fruitful and continuous cooperation between the UAE Pro League and its partners of the UAE Football Association, clubs, sponsors, and the media, is the way to achieve these goals," he noted.

The first session, which was held this evening, witnessed a review of the most prominent stats that reflect the UAE Pro League's marketing successes, and performance measurements that emphasize the need for special amendments to the marketing regulation.

The workshop also saw a detailed explanation with regard to the amendments and requirements for the media, television broadcasting regulation, and ticket sales system.

At the end of its first-day activities, the workshop focused on the most important amendments to the regulations of the competitions and the teams' lists for the new season.
