Matchweek 22 of the Arabian Gulf League U21 saw Al Ain consolidate their position at the top of the standings with a 2-1 win over Ajman. The Boss maintained a three-point lead over second-placed Shabab Al Ahli who cruised to a 6-1 victory over Al Dhafra.
Sharjah returned to winning ways with a big 4-0 win over Al Wasl that saw them remain third with 45 points. They are followed by Ittihad Kalba who moved up to fourth place after edging Khorfakkan 1-0.
Meanwhile, Al Wahda lost to Al Jazira 4-1 to drop to fifth place, while the win saw the Pride of Abu Dhabi remain sixth. Fujairah emerged 3-2 winners over Al Nasr to remain seventh, three points clear of eighth-placed Al Wasl, and four above Ajman.
Hatta defeated Bani Yas 2-1 to sit 11th, just one point below the Sky Blues. Khorfakkan, Al Nasr, and Al Dhafra occupy the positions from 12th to 14th, respectively.
