The UAE Pro League won four Broadcasting and TV production awards at the 17th annual Digital Studio Awards, which was held in Dubai and witnessed fierce competition among 150 nominees from over 50 leading organizations in the broadcasting and TV production field in the region.
The UAE Pro League Digital Studio Awards for the 2020-21 season included the Executive Team of the Year Award for the UAE Pro League's Broadcast and TV production team, the Outstanding Achievement in Workflow Award for the behind the scenes gameplay, the Excellence in Sound and Audio Award for the virtual crowd audio cheering effects project and was also highly commended in the Best Live Action Capture category for the Arabian Gulf Super Cup coverage.
The achievement is a testament to the UAE Pro League’s excellence-driven policy in organizing and broadcasting its competitions, as it seeks to adopt the latest technologies and innovations to deliver the highest broadcasting and TV production standards in light of the wide reach of the UAE Pro League competitions across the world.
The UAE Pro League had previously won the Best Technology Innovation Award for its “Immersive Replay” project in 2020 and the Best Live Action Capture Award for its “VR Seat Experience” in 2018.
UAE Pro League CEO Waleed Al Hosani expressed his delight with the achievement, saying it aligns with the wise leadership’s vision and translates the directives of the UAE Pro League board, which focuses on development and innovation in all fields while putting fans first.
He added, “we always seek to adopt the latest technologies which enhance the UAE Pro League viewing experience, which is our primary goal. We are proud to receive these awards as they represent a testament from an expert organization, which reflects our keenness to follow the highest international standards in broadcasting and TV production. The UAE Pro League competitions lead the region in the broadcasting quality, sound and video, and latest technologies.”
Al Hosani praised the efforts put in by everyone at the UAE Pro League, who work together to achieve the UAEPL’s long-term goals in accordance with an ambitious strategy based on excellence while keeping pace with the latest technologies in the field of professional sports competitions organizations.
