The 2025-2026 ADNOC Pro League season once again showcased why the competition is regarded as one of the most exciting and competitive football leagues in the Arab world, delivering remarkable attacking football, intense competition, and impressive statistics throughout the campaign.
The season reflected the continued growth and development of UAE football, with clubs demonstrating high technical standards and strong attacking performances. The competition remained fiercely contested across all positions in the standings until the final stages of the season, highlighting the league's increasing competitiveness and quality.
Beyond the excitement of the results, the season's statistics revealed the effectiveness and diversity of teams' attacking approaches. Clubs consistently created and converted scoring opportunities, while goals from both inside and outside the penalty area added further excitement to the competition. Penalty kicks also played a significant role in several matches, while disciplinary records reflected the intensity of the battles on the pitch.
A total of 182 matches were played during the season, producing 513 goals. Of these, 436 goals were scored from inside the penalty area, while 60 came from outside the box. In addition, 17 own goals were recorded.
Referees awarded 74 penalties throughout the season, with 62 successfully converted into goals.
On the disciplinary front, officials issued 708 yellow cards and 62 red cards, underscoring the highly competitive nature of the league and the determination displayed by teams across the campaign.
These figures further reinforce the ADNOC Pro League's status as one of the region's premier football competitions, combining attacking football, competitive balance, and an ever-improving standard of play.
