The UAE Pro League's Board of Directors convened on Tuesday, April 30th, for their eleventh periodic meeting of the 2023-24 season.
The meeting agenda included a detailed review of the preparations for the upcoming final of the ADIB Cup, scheduled between Al Wahda and Al Ain on Friday, May 3rd, at 8:45 PM at Mohamed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
The board examined the final organizational arrangements for this eagerly anticipated event.
The directors emphasized the necessity of redoubling efforts to ensure the event showcases the progress of the ADIB Cup competition and highlights the technical and public significance of the final match, which is expected to attract a large crowd of supporters from both teams.
Further discussions covered the Executive Management and specialized committees' reports, alongside updates on various operations within the UAE Pro League.
The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Abdulla Nasser Al Jneibi, Chairman of the UAE Pro League, and attended by Vice Chairman Jamal Hamed Al Marri and other board members: Hassan Taleb Al Marri, Tariq Ali Al Shabibi, Saeed Obaid Al Kaabi, Jawaher Abdulaziz Al Suwaidi, Mohamed Said Abu Zinjal Al Ali. Also present were UAE Pro League CEO Waleed Al Hosani, Business Development Consultant Dr. Khalid Mohammed Abdullah, Institutional Support Manager Musab Al Marzooqi, and various department heads of the UAE Pro League.
