Sharjah’s journey to the semi-finals began in the preliminary round, where they faced Khorfakkan. A hard-fought 1-0 away win gave them the edge before sealing the tie with a 2-1 victory at home.
In the quarter-finals, they encountered a tough challenge against Al Wahda, suffering a 1-0 defeat in the first leg.
However, they mounted an impressive comeback with a dominant 4-2 win in the second leg, securing their place in the semi-finals.
Shabab Al Ahli’s Road to the Semi-Finals
Shabab Al Ahli also started in the preliminary round, overcoming Ajman with a 2-0 first-leg win, followed by a 1-1 draw in the return match.
In the quarter-finals, they faced Al Nasr and secured a commanding 2-0 win in the first leg before playing out a dramatic 5-5 draw in the second leg, advancing with a 7-5 aggregate score.
