Two first-half goals and a late second-half one helped Kalba secure a 3-0 win over Al Bataeh in matchweek 5 of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.
Kalba needed 21 minutes to break the deadlock through Mehdi Ghayedi, who picked up the ball and cut inside before slotting home with his powerful left-footed effort.
The hosts preferred to go to the dressing rooms with a comfortable advantage, and they got what they wanted when Saman Ghoddos fired a sublime strike from outside the box that past the outstretched hands of Al Bataeh's goalkeeper Ibrahim Al Balooshi to cement Kalba's lead.
Leandro Spadacio leite's side-footed effort from inside the box in the additional time saw Kalba score the third goal of the night.
The result means that Kalba are sixth with seven points, while Al Bataeh sit eleventh with four points.
