Sharjah ascended to the top of the ADNOC Pro League table with a decisive 3-0 win over Al Nasr on Friday evening.
The Matchweek 8 clash at Sharjah Stadium saw the home team deliver a clinical performance, securing three vital points and overtaking Shabab Al Ahli in the standings.
Sharjah now lead with 21 points, two ahead of Shabab Al Ahli, who drew 0-0 with Kalba in this matchweek. Meanwhile, Al Nasr remain in fifth place with 13 points.
The match showcased Sharjah's attacking prowess, led by Ousmane Camara, who struck twice in the 33rd and 59th minutes.
Guilherme Sucigan completed the scoring with a brilliant long-range effort in the 83rd minute.
Sharjah started the game on the front foot, and their persistence paid off in the 33rd minute when Camara opened the scoring with a perfectly placed header that left the keeper helpless.
The home side continued their dominance in the second half. Camara doubled Sharjah's lead in the 59th minute with a powerful finish inside the box.
As Al Nasr struggled to respond, Guilherme Sucigan sealed the victory with a stunning shot into the far corner in the 83rd minute, capping off a flawless performance.
