Two goals in each half from Joao Pedro and Fabio De Lima secured a 2-0 comfortable win for Al Wasl over Ajman in matchweek 19 of the ADNOC Pro League on Friday.
The win led Al Wasl to sit fifth with 30 points, while Ajman are 8th with 25 points.
Al Wasl started strongly and went ahead in the 27th minute when Joao Pedro beat goalkeeper Ali Al Hosani from the tightest of angles.
The Brazilian scored most of his goals in the ADNOC Pro League against Al Wasl and Ajman with 6 goals.
Fabio De Lima secured the three points and sealed the victory in the 74th minute from a penalty spot as he stepped up and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way.
