Al Nasr came twice from behind to hold a 2-2 draw with Al Wahda at Al Nahyan Stadium in matchweek 20 of the ADNOC Pro League.
The result means that Al Wahda sit third with 35 points, while Al Nasr are eighth with 27 points.
A wonderful cross-pass from Ala Zhir found Omar Khribin in the 26th as the Syrian International picked up the ball and skipped past a defender before steering the ball into the bottom corner to put Al Wahda ahead.
Al Nasr pressed for getting the equalizer and they got what they wanted seven minutes after the hour-mark via Hussain Mohammed's deflected shot that left Mohamed Alshamsi wrong-footed.
Al Wahda refused to give up and searched to take the lead as Facundo Daniel put them in front in the 73rd minute.
Omar Khribin turned from a scorer to a provider as he found Daniel on the right side of the penalty area to whip his shot past onrushing Ahmed Shambih and into the far right corner.
Six minutes later, Ali Mabkhout brought Al Nasr level and secured a point for the visitors when he timed his run perfectly to head in Marouan Azarkan's in-swinging cross.
