Emirati fans await the start of the 2023-24 ADNOC Pro League as the opening matchweek is set to take place on Friday and Saturday, August 18th and 19th.
The opening matchweek sees seven tough fixtures taking place over two days.
Here are the historic fixtures set to be held in the opening matchweek
Ittihad Kalba v Sharjah
The two clubs had previously met on 14 occasions, with nine wins for Sharjah, compared to two for Ittihad Kalba, while the other three matches ended in draws. Sharjah have scored 25 goals, while Ittihad Kalba have netted 11.
Al Wahda v Al Bataeh
Both clubs have just two meetings in the last season as Al Wahda secured the home and away wins.
Al Ain v Bani Yas
During their 24 previous meetings, Al Ain secured the victory 12 times, while Bani Yas had 4 wins, and the other 8 clashes ended in draws. Al Ain scored 45 goals, compared to 28 for Bani Yas.
Ajman v Shabab Al Ahli
Ajman and Shabab Al Ahli had 22 clashes before with Ajman winning just a game, compared to 16 for the Dubai-based side, while the other 5 games ended in draws.

Khorfakkan v Hatta
