Al Jazira wrapped up their 2025-2026 ADNOC Pro League campaign with an emphatic 4-1 win over Bani Yas at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium.
The hosts delivered a dominant first-half performance, scoring all four of their goals before the break through Bruno De Oliveira in the 6th minute, Simon Banza in the 27th and 45+2nd minutes, and Vinicius Mello in the 36th minute. Jacob Oouthe scored Bani Yas’ only goal in the 12th minute.
The result lifted Al Jazira to 44 points at the end of the season, while Bani Yas remained on 27 points in 10th place.
Al Jazira controlled the opening half both in performance and statistics, enjoying 57.1 percent possession compared to 42.9 percent for Bani Yas.
The hosts also registered seven attempts, including four on target, while Bani Yas managed only two shots on target throughout the first half.
Despite Bani Yas briefly responding with an equaliser through Jacob Awoute after the early opener, Al Jazira quickly regained control and showcased their attacking quality with three additional first-half goals to put the match beyond reach.
The second half was played at a slower tempo, with Al Jazira appearing comfortable protecting their advantage, while Bani Yas struggled to create any significant attacking threat.
The visitors’ difficult evening was compounded in the 90th minute when defender Hasan Mohamed Almuharrami was sent off with a red card.
