The First Instance Body (FIB), operating under the UAE Pro League’s Club Licensing System, has approved the issuance of the AFC Licence for the 2026-2027 licensing cycle to 13 football companies after successfully meeting all required licensing criteria and reviewing the submitted licensing reports.
The decision was announced during the committee’s regular meeting held on Sunday, May 17.
The clubs granted AFC licenses are:
Shabab Al Ahli Dubai, Al Wahda, Al Ain, Ajman, Al Nasr, Kalba, Al Wasl, Sharjah, Bani Yas, Khorfakkan, Al Jazira, Dibba Al Hisn, and Al Orooba football companies.
The FIB is an independent committee that grants licenses independently, with no involvement of any sports body in the UAE, to ensure transparency in governance.
