Preparations are underway for the UAE Pro League Awards Ceremony for the 2025–26 season, which will be held on 10 August at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi.
The annual event celebrates the season's standout performers and honours those who made an outstanding impact throughout the campaign.
The ceremony is one of the highlights of the UAE football calendar, bringing together leading figures from the game, including players, club representatives, strategic partners, broadcasters, local and regional media, and journalists.
The winners of the voting-based awards will be announced during the evening, including the Golden Ball Award, Golden Glove Award, Leader Award, Golden Boy Award, Fans' Player of the Year Award, and the Best Goal Award.
The UAE Pro League recently announced the nominees for the voting-based awards and opened the voting process from 27 July to 1 August through its official website and smart applications.
Team captains, head coaches, media representatives, and fans took part in the voting, with the winners to be revealed during the ceremony.
The nominees for the Golden Ball Award are Matias Palacios, Alejandro Romero, Kodjo Laba, Soufian Rahimi and Rami Rabiea (Al Ain), Nicolás Giménez (Al Wasl), Yuri César and Guilherme Bala (Shabab Al Ahli), Omar Khribin (Al Wahda), and Tarik Tissoudali (Khorfakkan).
The nominees for the Golden Glove Award are Khalid Eissa (Al Ain), Hamad Al Meqbaali (Shabab Al Ahli), Ali Al Hosani (Ajman), Ali Khaseif (Al Jazira), and Zayed Ahmed (Al Wahda).
Competing for the Leader Award are Vladimir Ivić (Al Ain), Goran Tufegdžić (Ajman), Rui Carlos Pinho da Vitória (Al Wasl), Marino Pusic (Al Jazira), and Paulo Manuel Carvalho de Sousa (Shabab Al Ahli).
The nominees for the Golden Boy Award are Abdulkarim Trawri and El Houssein Rahimi (Al Ain), Vinicius Melo and Mamadou Coulibaly (Al Jazira), Renan Victor Da Silva, Mohammed Almansoori and Kauan Santos (Shabab Al Ahli), and Abdoulaye Toure (Al Nasr).
The winners of the Fans' Player of the Year Award and the Best Goal Award will also be announced during the ceremony.
The ceremony will also honour the winners of the statistics-based awards, including the Golden Shoe – League Top Scorer, won by Kodjo Laba (Al Ain); the Golden Shoe – ADIB Cup Top Scorer, won by Abdoulaye Toure (Al Nasr); and the Silver Shoe – League U23 Top Scorer, won by Ali AlMemar. The Dream Team, featuring the season's best XI, will also be announced.
The winners of the criteria-based awards, including the Fan Attendance Award and the Club Licensing and Professionalism Award, will also be honoured in recognition of clubs that excelled in organisational and administrative standards, alongside the season's individual and team achievements.
