ADNOC Pro League Heats Up with 122 Goals in Opening Five Matchweeks

In an electrifying first five matchweeks, the ADNOC Pro League has showcased a blend of sensational football antics, concluding temporarily for an international break and set to regain momentum on October 27th.

 

 

So far, 35 matches have graced the league, offering a sum of 122 goals, ensuring a stunning average of 3.49 goals per game.

 

 

Furthermore, 15 matches concluded with one team sealing a clean sheet, revealing the tactical strengths sprawled across the league’s defensive units.

 

 

Al Ain spectacularly clinched second place in the league standings, amassing 12 points and leading the goal-scoring charts with 14 notable goals in the initial fixtures.

 

 

Trailing them are Al Jazira, pocketing 12 goals and comfortably sitting fourth with 10 points, and Al Wasl, boasting 11 goals and securing the third spot with 11 points.

 

 

 

Ajman endured a defensive ordeal, succumbing to 19 goals in the initial rounds, the highest in the league.

 

 

Subsequently, Ittihad Kalba and Khorfakkan have conceded 12 and 11 goals, respectively, signaling potential areas for tactical adjustment as the league progresses.

 

 

Sharjah also emerged as the most awarded team concerning penalties, acquiring 3 in their preliminary games.

 

 

Following suit with 2 penalties each are Al Wahda, Al Jazira, Ittihad Kalba, and Ajman.

 

 

In the discipline spectrum, Al Bataeh accumulated the most yellow cards, with 17, followed by Ajman and Sharjah, each with 16, and Al Wahda with 14.

 

 

Concerning red cards, Al Bataeh, Al Ain, Hatta, and Khorfakkan each have encountered two dismissals in the opening rounds.

 

 

Laba Kodjo (Al Ain), Waleed Azaro (Ajman), Caio Lucas (Sharjah), Youssoufou Niakate (Bani Yas), and Haris Seferovic (Al Wasl) have ignited the golden boot race, each netting 4 times, signifying a thrilling goal-scoring journey as the league advances.
